My boy loves his Open-Top Cradle swing. The bright colors in the mobile give him immense happiness and he simply stares at the funny animals endlessly in awe. The best time to use the swing is when you have some work to do and your toddler is being fussy. You can just place him in his cradle and carry on. The bright colors attracted me towards buying this cradle for my baby and the fact that it swings back and forth as well as sideways. The songs are extremely sweet and soothing. You can actually listen to them for long without getting fed up.

My Review of Fisher-Price Zen Collections Cradle Swing

To start off with the negative points, assembly of the Fisher-Price Zen Collections Cradle Swing is a little difficult. The instructions attached are not enough. In the beginning, it came across as a major disappointment and waste of so much money since it was so hard to assemble. It took up a lot of time and this got frustrating. There are some parts that are not even described in the instruction manual and thus, you are left clueless about them. Also, the assembly is permanent. So if you attach the parts wrong, it is forever. Attaching the toy bar is also very difficult. It is confusing and only after several tries was I able to fix it.

However, there are things on the plus side too that make the Fisher-Price Zen Collections Cradle Swing worth buying. The colors are gentle and very friendly for the baby. My baby loves his swing and it feels so good to see him have such a nice time when he’s in motion and listening to the soothing music. I love the fact that the swing speed is adjustable and so is the volume. I can tune it down or up according to his mood and he enjoys it endless. The fabrics, I’d like to mention again are exquisite. It is so comfortable that my baby falls asleep for hours at a stretch without any problems even if I move it. That is very helpful.

Bottom line, once you get a hang of the assembling process, the Fisher-Price Zen Collections Cradle Swing is much better and satisfying.
